Torrey, Utah

Location

Torrey is located in south-central Utah, at the junction of Utah State Highway 24 (which runs east-west) and the highly scenic Utah State Road 12, which has its northern terminus here.

Torrey is about five miles west of Capitol Reef National Park.

Description

Although a very small town, Torrey has a number of motels, shops, restaurants and at least one petrol station (gas station). It forms a very pleasant and convenient base for visiting Capitol Reef National Park.

There are a number of other small towns on Utah State Highway 24 west of Torrey which we haven't explored.
