The Grand Circle - Introduction
The Grand Circle is an informal name for an area enclosed by a circle drawn approximately as follows:
- Centre: Page, Arizona.
- Western limit: St George, Utah.
- Northern limit: The northern edge of Capitol Reef National Park, Utah.
- Eastern limit: Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado (or perhaps as far east as Durango, Colorado).
- Southern limit: Flagstaff, Arizona (or perhaps as far south as Montezuma Castle National Monument, Arizona).
The Grand Circle includes a considerable number of spectacular National Parks, National Monuments and State Parks.
