Cumberland Mountain State Park, Tennessee
Location
Cumberland Mountain State Park is on US127 south of the town of Crossville.
Description
This state park makes a very pleasant place to stop for a lunchtime picnic if you are travelling between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park - for example from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge - and the Nashville area - for example to the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway.
The park has picnic tables and a pleasant pedestrian bridge over a lake.
Entrance is free of charge.
