Wall Drug, South Dakota

Location

In the small town of Wall, South Dakota, which is located on I-90 east of Rapid City and the Black Hills region, just west of Badlands National Park.

Description

Wall Drug is a huge old-time store. Although designed to catch tourists, most of its various sections are interesting and Wall Drug is certainly well worth a visit if you're passing.

Wall Drug derives its name from the town where it is located. It has no connection or similarity with Wal-Mart, the chain of huge discount department stores, which derives its name from that of its founder, Sam Walton.
