Location

Rapid City is located a short distance north of most of the major points of interest in the Black Hills of western South Dakota.

Description

Rapid City is a medium to large town with all facilities. In my opinion it is the best place to stay in the Black Hills area, but there are several other choices.

Rapid City also has two weekly newspapers, "Plainsman" and "Indian Country Today". Local magazines include "The Visitor", "Investment Report" and "Inside the Black Hills".
