John Cletheroe's
USA and Canada Holiday Hints |
Heading north, it initially passes through a fruit growing area before climbing over Grand Mesa, where it runs through the Grand Mesa National Forest, before descending to join I-70/US6 which runs through the arid Colorado River valley.
The road is good quality and paved over its whole length.
There is a National Forest visitor centre on this road but unfortunately it is only open on certain days of the week.
