Only a small sample of menu items are listed here.

Unless otherwise stated, prices exclude sales tax and are normal (not special offer) prices.

Throughout Canada.

System

Fast food.

Queue at the counter (sometimes there is one queue, sometimes there are multiple queues).

Place order and make payment.

Immediately receive any items which do not require preparation and a receipt bearing your order number.

All hot food is cooked to order.

The hot food is delivered to your table when it is ready.

You are normally given a receipt.

Place your rubbish in the bin provided and leave the tray on top.

Most locations also have drive-throughs.

Breakfasts

Available at all locations in Canada, as far as I know.

Bacon 'n' Egger or Sausage 'n' Egger (egg and bacon or sausage, in a hamburger bun) CDN$0.99 (summer 2000).

Bacon, egg and toast (served on a plate) CDN$2.99 (summer 2000).

Lunch And Dinner

Various sizes and styles of hamburgers and other items.

Senior Discounts

None, as far as I know.

Opinion

The following refers specifically to A & W in Canada. A & W in the USA is a separate company and very different.

Quality of food - consistently excellent, especially breakfasts.

Value for money - generally excellent, especially breakfasts.

Cleanliness - generally excellent.

Quality and speed of service - generally excellent.
