Scenic Railway Journeys and Tourist Railway Lines in the USA and Canada - Introduction

There are numerous scenic railway journeys in both the USA and Canada. These include regular services over normal railway lines, and tourist trips on reconstructed or restored lines.

The list in this section includes just a very small sample of what is available.

Many of these services become full up many months in advance, so advance reservations are highly recommended.

Some of these services may only operate in the summer, or may only offer a restricted service in the winter.
