Lincoln City, Oregon

Location

Lincoln City is on the north-central part of the Oregon Coast, south of Tillamook and north of Newport. Lincoln city is roughly west of Salem.

Description

Lincoln City is a pleasant town with a good range of facilities such as motels, shops and restaurants. It is a good choice for a lunchtime or overnight stop.

While it is possible to drive out to the ocean at Lincoln City, this is not straightforward and there is no "front" alongside the beach. Better views of the ocean can be obtained from US101 outside town.
