Gold Beach, Oregon

Location

Gold Beach is on the Oregon Coast, at the mouth of the Rogue River not far north of the California border.

Description

Gold Beach is an extremely pleasant town with all the normal facilities such as motels and restaurants.

At the northern end of the town US101 crosses a bridge over the Rogue River. An excellent view of the bridge and the hills on the other side of the river can be had from rooms at the Motel 6.

A number of companies offer scenic boat trips up the Rogue River. Their facilities can be found on either side of the Rogue River bridge.
