John Cletheroe's
USA and Canada Holiday Hints |
For visitors passing through the town, access to the beach and ocean views are difficult in the town itself.
However, on the southern outskirts of the town there is a large free car park next to the beach providing excellent access. This is called the Tolovana Beach State Wayside. From US101, look for signs to Mo's (a restaurant next to the car park).
The beach itself is well worth a look and a stroll along, with its huge boulders and driftwood logs. A particular feature is Haystack Rock, a huge rock on the beach near the centre of the town.
