Toronto, Ontario - Accommodation Recommendation

This web site does not tend to include specific accommodation recommendations but I have made an exception for this message received during October 2002 from an email correspondent identified only as "Kleedurham", since it seems to me to be of such general value:

I noticed you stated that there were few Motel 6 locations in Canada. I agree, there are very few compared to the US.

However, I seem to have found a gem. I recently visited Toronto over Labor Day weekend and I stayed at the Motel 6 at the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Argentia Road in Mississauga. It was probably the cleanest and most comfortable Motel 6 I have stayed at ever. I commend the people who run the place because it was a pleasant experience. I travel quite often and have stayed in Motel 6 rooms most nights. If anyone plans to go to Toronto and they don't mind staying about fifteen minutes outside the city, then definitely stay at the Mississauga location.

Mississauga is about twelve or thirteen miles west-southwest of Toronto, and about twelve miles by road from Lester Pearson International Airport.
