Blind River, Ontario
Location
Blind River lies on Highway 17, the Trans-Canada Highway, between Sault Ste Marie and Espanola, on the north shore of Lake Huron.
Description
In my opinion Blind River is a pleasant little town with a somewhat limited but certainly adequate range of facilities such as motels and restaurants, making it an excellent choice for a mid-day or overnight stop.

Trivia
Blind River features in the lyrics of the Neil Young song "Long May You Run":
Well, it was back in Blind River in 1962
When I last saw you alive
(Referring to a car that Young used to own, apparently.)
