School Bus Yellow

The background colour of this page is approximately that of School Bus Yellow, the colour of all school buses in the USA and Canada.

In most states it is illegal to paint a vehicle this colour unless it is a school bus. If a school bus is sold and therefore converted to another use, the new owner must repaint it a different colour.

The RGB hex code used to produce this colour is #FFD800.

This colour was derived by purely experimentation and not from an official source. It is only meant to be an approximation. Its appearance will of course be greatly affected by the brightness and contrast controls on your monitor and any settings in your video board software (for example, colour balance and gamma correction).
