City of Rocks State Park is in southwestern New Mexico, on NM61 near its junction with US180, southeast of Silver City.
What To See And Do
This small but interesting state park contains numerous huge boulders, which look somewhat like the tors on Dartmoor in Devon (UK).
Some Ideas For Places To Stay
Of the three nearby towns, Deming is recommended. Lordsburg is also acceptable, but Silver City is rather a high-priced tourist town.
