Location

Boone is in northwestern North Carolina, a few miles north of the Blue Ridge Parkway, at the junction of US321 and US421.

Description

Boone is a pleasant if busy medium sized town. It is the site of the Appalachian State University. Boone has a wide range of facilities and is a good choice of stopover point when travelling on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
