Location
Scotts Bluff National Monument, an important landmark on the Oregon Trail, is in western Nebraska, just south of the town of almost the same name which is on US26.
The name of the National Monument is spelt as two words (Scotts Bluff) whereas the name of the town is spelt with one word (Scottsbluff).
What to See and Do
Drive to the top for the excellent view and nature trail.
Visit the excellent Oregon Trail museum at the base.
