Location
Helena is in central Montana, where US12 crosses I-15.
Description
Despite being the state capital, Helena is only a medium sized town and quite pleasant. It has an excellent range of facilities.
In Helena there is a very interesting Montana Historical Society museum with a fine collection of paintings by the famous "cowboy artist" Charlie Russell (free entry).
