The Mall of America situated on the southern outskirts of Minneapolis, near the International Airport.
Description
The Mall of America consists of a central enclosed theme park surrounded by four sides of shops on several levels. The scale of this mall is therefore very impressive.
The theme park - Knott's Camp Snoopy - has as its dual themes an American summer camp and the Peanuts/Snoopy cartoon strip characters. It contains the usual combination of roller coasters and other attractions. Uniquely, there is no admission fee for the theme park, although naturally there is a charge for the rides and other similar attractions.
Car parking for the Mall of America consists of both ground level open-air car parks and multi-storey car parks. Both are free of charge.
