Tahquamenon Falls State Park, Michigan
Location
Tahquamenon Falls State Park is located in the northeastern part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on Michigan State Highway 123. This road forms a loop to the north of Michigan State Highway 128, the road between Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie.
Description
The upper falls are some of the most impressive in the USA east of the Mississippi. They are two hundred feet wide and fifty feet high. There are also several relatively minor falls which together are known as the lower falls.
Trails lead to overlooks providing excellent views of the falls.
