Driving In The USA and Canada - Unpaved Roads

Unpaved roads are also called dirt roads, gravel roads or unimproved roads.

Most rental car companies forbid the driving of their vehicles on unpaved roads. Doing so will void all insurance and CDW/LDW.

Unpaved roads can be extremely dangerous in bad weather conditions.
