Tennessee Valley Authority Dams, Various States
This is NOT the official Tennessee Valley Authority Web Site
Introduction
There are fifty dams on the Tennessee River and its tributaries, built as part of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) project. I have not visited any of these dams.
Twenty-nine of the TVA dams generate hydro-electricity.
The TVA also administers Land Between The Lakes, a peninsula of woodland with various visitor facilities located between two artificial lakes in western Tennessee and Kentucky.
The Tennessee Valley Authority comes under the jurisdiction of the Executive Branch of the US Federal Government.
