Update - May-98
Becky Dopps, who works as an Interpretive Park Ranger for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Albeni Falls Dam, kindly sent me this message:
I work at the Albeni Falls project. I just thought that I could help you if you are ever updating your pages. Albeni Falls Dam is a low head dam, not just long and low. It holds back 1.1 million acre foot of water. We still offer excellent tours free of charge. They begin on Memorial Day weekend at the end of May and run through Labor Day weekend at the start of September. They are at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm every day of the week. I hope this can help you. Becky Dopps, Interpretive Park Ranger, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
