We spent three weeks touring southern California (including Joshua Tree National Park and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park), Arizona (including Saguaro National Park), New Mexico (including Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, White Sands National Monument and Carlsbad Caverns National Park), western Texas (including Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Big Bend National Park), southern Colorado (including the Great Sand Dunes National Monument and the San Juan Skyway) and southern Utah (including Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument).
The following costs are for the three weeks, for three adults. Where relevant all the costs are for all three of us combined, NOT per person. Please bear in mind that your costs in the USA and Canada may vary considerably depending on your lifestyle.
