Car Rental in the USA and Canada - Drop-Off Charges for One-Way Rentals

If you plan to fly out to one airport and back from a different airport then check for any drop off charge for the car rental, which can be as high as $500 depending on the distance between the two airports.

Sometimes you can drop the car at another location within California or Florida without incurring a drop-off charge but don't assume that this is always the case.

Some car rental companies do not offer one-way rentals for the least expensive grades of cars or for special vehicles.
