Location
Susanville is located to the east of Lassen Volcanic National Park, in the foothills to the east of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Mountains. The Lassen and Plumas National Forests lie nearby.
Description
Susanville is a pleasant small-to-medium sized town with a reasonable range of motels, shops and restaurants. It is the only town of any size in this area for many miles.
