Location
Qualicum Beach is located on Vancouver Island's eastern coast, about seven miles north of Parksville and about thirty miles north of Nanaimo.
Description
In our opinion Qualicum Beach is the best town on Vancouver Island's lower eastern coast. It is an extremely pleasant little resort town with a good range of motels, restaurants and shops. You can park and take a stroll along the front where there is an excellent beach and marvellous views across the Strait of Georgia to the mountains on the mainland. The majority of motels are naturally to be found along the front, with most of the shops being located a few blocks inland. Larger shops can be found in nearby Parksville.
