John Cletheroe's
USA and Canada Holiday Hints

Williams, Arizona

Location

In northern Arizona, about sixty miles south of the Grand Canyon. Williams is at the junction of I-40 and Arizona State Highway 64, about thirty-five miles east of Flagstaff. Highway 64 runs north to the Grand Canyon.

Description

Williams is a small-to-medium sized town with a fair range of facilities such as accommodation and restaurants. It is, in our opinion, one of the best choices for places to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon's south rim.

Williams is a significantly smaller and therefore quieter town than Flagstaff but inevitably this means that its range of facilities is less.
