External Links - Coach Services
In Britain, a "coach" is what people in the USA and Canada would call a long distance bus.

Most of these web sites offer versions in the English language (look for "Anglais", "Engels", "English" or a Union Jack flag). However, some sites are only available in their own national language.
Airlinks operate a number of coach services (long distance bus services) between various UK airports and cities. There is a useful map of their services but unfortunately it has a very intrusive background and a couple of glaring spelling errors: "Working" might be Woking or Worthing, and "Conventry" should be Coventry. Verified Nov-99 but failed Jan-03.
Alsa Bus (Spanish national bus company; also some international services)
Fails in Netscape Navigator but ok in Internet Explorer, except that the timetable page uses an ActiveX control which may cause security problems in Internet Explorer. To get round this, add the site to Internet Explorer's list of trusted sites and make sure that the security setting for the trusted sites zone is set to low. This site defaults to Spanish but there is an English language option. For a route map, go to the Site Map page and select the appropriate option. For route timetables and fares you may need to specify a destination beyond your actual destination; use the map to discover this information. Even then, only prices and times for the final destination are listed, not any intermediate stop. It would appear that Alsa Bus may have now merged with Enatcar, another major Spanish bus company. Verified Mar-03.
