Ambiguous Place Names In Europe
Introduction
The list of ambiguous European place names on this page is inevitably far from complete. If you have a suggestion for an additional entry, please email me using the link at the bottom of the page.
In many cases there are other places, usually smaller, with the same or similar names as larger well-known places.
